Adi Akavia

I am a senior lecturer at the Tel-Aviv Yaffo Academic College at Tel-Aviv Jaffa Israel, which I joined at 2011, and a member of the Foundation & Application of Cryptograph Theory (FACT) research center hosted by the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya Israel, which I joined at 2013. Previously I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton NJ, DIMACS at Rutgers University, and the Weizmann Institute of Science, and had the great privilege to have Prof. Shafi Goldwasser as my PhD advisor at MIT (2003-2007).

My research interests lie in cryptography, complexity, and algorithms, with focus on securing cryptosystems against theoretical and practical attacks, and on devising sub-linear algorithms for signal processing tasks.
